Need for Speed World Open Beta Begins, Is Extremely Short
by Xav de Matos, Jul 02, 2010 2:40pm PDTGrab your scarves and driving gloves, ladies and gentlemen, an open beta for Need for Speed World shifted into gear, earlier today. The extremely short online multiplayer test will run from July 2 at 12pm CT (10am PT) until Monday, July 5.
All players are required to do in order to test the upcoming racer is register at World.NeedForSpeed.com and download the client. (Unfortunately, the client cannot be made available at FileShack.) Fans of the series will be happy to know their current account will not be wiped and the community's upcoming "Chicken Run" race is scheduled to continue.

its not optimized so well...its runs like crap on my 5770... i get 20-30 fps..
