Insomniac Would "Support" Ratchet & Clank HD Collection, Won't Make It
by Xav de Matos, Jul 02, 2010 9:25am PDTIn a Twitter response to an inquiry about a possible Ratchet & Clank HD Collection, Insomniac responded favorably with one stipulation: The company won't be involved with development. [via 1UP]. "We won't make it, but we'd support Sony if they decided to do it," the company wrote on its official Twitter page.
At E3 2010, Sony revealed plans to revive the Sly Cooper franchise with a high-definition collection, currently in development by Sanzaru Games rather than the original team at Sucker Punch. Previously, Sony released a God of War HD Collection, developed by Bluepoint Games.
Although Sony has hinted at the possibility of more HD collections, the company has not announced any future plans. Shacknews has contacted Sony for comment regarding the possibility of a Ratchet & Clank HD Collection but has yet to hear back at the time of publishing.
