Shack PSA: Battlefield Bad Company 2 40% off at Direct2Drive

Throughout the week Direct2Drive has had an ongoing promotion where one title per day is being discounted to celebrate the site's recent redesign. Today's "Quest for the Chosen One" promotion slashes the price on the DICE-developed Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to $29.95, down 40% from $49.95.

If you're looking for some structure shattering multiplayer mayhem, act fast. The sale ends at the end of the day.

What do I do, buy this, or wait to see if it goes on sale or Steam? D:

Sadly, we didn't catch wind of this offer until it already began. Apparently 2 days ago Mass Effect 2 was on sale for $19.99. Mass Effect 2 is now on sale on Steam, but it's for $23.99.

So... if it happens the price range will be similar.

Well it was just on sale on steam last week, 33% off. However I think there's still a good chance it'll appear during the one day only Perils of Summer deals.
