Shack PSA: Xbox Live Arcade 'Deal of the Week' Discounts "Acclaimed" Titles

While regular practice on the Xbox Live Marketplace is to have a single piece of content featured as the "Deal of Week," this week's promotion features six XBLA titles. Not just six regular titles, mind you. No, these six titles are critical darlings, according to the name of this week's promotion that is.

Notable titles for during this week's "Critics Choice" sale include The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom and the non-profit published charity-developed music game, Chime for 400 and 240 MS points, respectively.

Other available titles this week include:

Defense Grid - 400 MS Points ($5.00)
The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom - 400 MS Points ($5.00)
Rocket Riot - 400 MS Points ($5.00)
Darwinia+ - 800 MS Points ($10.00)
Chime - 240 MS Points ($3.00)
Poker Smash - 400 MS Points ($5.00)

This week's promotion ends on Monday, July 5.

Actually they have been doing mutiple titles for the past couple of weeks or so. They have been doing it ever since their "inventory clearout" sale during E3. Last week was a whole bunch of sports games in honor of the World Cup.

I hope this trend continues.

I had some leftover points, and with them I now Winterbottom (loved the trial) and Chime (sounds interesting and they are still giving money to charity from what I know).

Already own Poker Smash - it also gets a thumbs up, and there is DLC for it as well.
