My buddy thought that the shit on the island never happened and no one survived the crash. To him, everything was in Jack's head.
I just thought that was hilarious and tried to explain my version of the show but there was no swaying him.

everything happened. the wreckage at the end of the finale was just the wreckage at that particular moment. it had always been there. the survivors had moved away from it during season 1 but obviously, no one could move partial plane pieces. jack died right near where he awoke. the shoe in the tree and everything. even the dog. it was really a nice moment and assholes have to ruin it by saying "lol i called it they were dead the whole time."
even the writers have reinforced what i'm saying. your friend is straightup wrong.
