Crysis 2 Trailer Shows 'Marine Salvage'

Not content with having sent out some fresh media only last week, developer Crytek and publisher Electronic Arts have issued a new Crysis 2 trailer dubbed "Marine Salvage."

Coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Crysis 2 is due out between October 1 and December 31, 2010, with all three platforms allowing the shooter to be played in 3D.

Crysis 2 irks me in that all of the weapons and enemies look different than the first game. Is there any explanation why you are using completely different weapons and fighting Aliens that look much different? There weren't any armored tripods in the first game or hulking alien soldiers in Crysis 1.

Wow, that looks cool. I'm torn between a SP experience like this or something a bit more sci-fi like Raven's Singularity.

One thing's for sure, the world that Crysis delivers is extremely rich with detail.

This looks outstanding, it really is amazing how far computer graphics have come.

I remember being wow'd by Quake 3 graphics, thinking that computer graphics couldn't get much more good looking that that.
