Miffy, Europe's favourite and most adorable fictional rabbit, is coming to WiiWare some time this summer in a game of her her very own, shown off in new screenshots and a trailer.

"Helping to stimulate the creative aspects of the imagination through the game's quests and puzzles," says Miffy's World publisher PAN Vision Group, "children are encouraged to explore the world of Miffy and interact with its array of colourful characters." There's also co-op support--a second player can take control of Miffy's mother or father to point at objects and guide the young rabbit through puzzles.

Developed by Biodroid Entertainment, Miffy's World is scheduled for a WiiWare release this summer at a yet-unknown price. Other platforms may follow.

My how Shacknews has come so very, very far from Quake news...

Yeah really. Shouldn't they have a "kiddie section" for this?

Well, I was delighted to see this here. Then again, I'm an European. Maybe an European section?

Change isn't bad. Shackers have families surprisingly enough. We are the educated gamers who spread the good word, so when recommending something for certain age groups we should be in the know.

Hardcore is all well and good, but knowing about the existence of things like Crayon Physics isn't exactly the worst thing in the world.
