Puzzle Quest 2 Gets XBLA Release Date: June 30
by Brian Leahy, Jun 21, 2010 2:20pm PDTPuzzle Quest 2 will be released on the Nintendo DS tomorrow, but those of you waiting for the Xbox Live Arcade version will not have to wait much longer. The Xbox Live Arcade version of the puzzler / RPG will release on June 30 for 1200 MS Points ($15).

The overworld of the game now takes the form of a dungeon-crawling game, but the core gameplay remains roughly the same: match 3 gems to gain mana for spells or deal direct damage.
Releases for the PC, iPad, and iPhone are also planned for Puzzle Quest 2, though release dates and pricing are not yet known.

Seriously though, I cannot wait to get this. I was seriously dissapointed in Galactrix, but absolutely loved the original Puzzle Quest. Hopefully this is more like the original and not just in name / theme.
