PlayStation Move Release Dates, Pricing, Games Announced

Sony announced launch details for the upcoming motion-control peripheral, PlayStation Move, at its 2010 E3 press conference. The move will launch on September 15 in Europe, September 19 in North America, and October 21 in Japan. The Move controller will retail for $49.99, and the Navigation controller will retail for $29.99.

A Sports Champions bundle including the PlayStation Eye, Move controller, and a copy of Sports Champions will be available for $99.99, and for $399.99 you'll be able to get that same bundle along with a PlayStation 3 Slim.

The PlayStation Move will have 15-plus available titles at launch, and 40 titles through the holiday season this year. First party games will retail for $39.99, and new titles for the Move include RUSE, SingStar Dance, and Echochrome 2. Sony also announced that Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, and Heavy Rain will include support for Move controls. A new Time Crisis game and Brunswick Pro Bowling will also take advantage of the Move motion control capabilities.
