  • I was actually more impressed with the Kinect technology than I expected to be. Both the Dance and the Fitness games had some good things going for them and they both seem to take advantage of the fact that Kinect, with it's full body skeletal tracking, can do certain things which Move and Wii simply can't. I am not particularly interested in the device for myself.. but I'm excited for what it makes possible and the potential of things to come. I could see this being very successful in a few years when/if we see a more powerful Xbox 720 come out with Kinect built into every system out of the box. Then the interface can be built around it and developers of games (including 'hardcore' style games) can casually throw these interfaces into their games without worrying about who has it and who doesn't. I see this device as basically a test for what could be a bigger thing in the future.
