Kinect (Formerly Project Natal) Launch Details

Microsoft's motion-sensing Xbox 360 controller Kinect--previously known as Project Natal--will be released on November 4 in North America, the company has announced during its E3 2010 press conference, though no price was given.

Anyone else surprised with the lack of any hardcore games for Kinect? I kept hoping for a big reveal during the Kinect presentation, but it was all mostly casual stuff.

  I'm not surprised at all. It's a neat new control idea, but I didn't expect anything but doing the same old bullshit by waving your arms around as opposed to using a gyroscope remote or traditional controller of some kind. I won't doubt there's potential, but Kinect is getting a nice start down Shovelware Road catching up with the Wii.
