Bodycount's E3 trailer has arrived, packed with pre-alpha gameplay showing the "orgy of bullets and destruction" promised in Black co-creator Stuart Black's new shooter.

Published by Codemasters and developed by its internal Guildford studio, Bodycount is scheduled for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in spring 2011.

I was very excited about this title but now I'm a bit concerned. Even though it's pre Alpha there are many things that rubbed me the wrong way. The bullets were the first thing, they look ridiculous and slow. The "completely shreddable" environment they talked about just seemed to blow up in stages no matter where he shot, and finally they are trying to tie on this clean beautiful aesthetic to a rough and dirty style game. I really enjoyed Black and I hope they pull this one off as well.

I don't understand the negativity in the other comments as I thought this looked fantastic. I really enjoyed Black and this looks look a worthy squeal which takes the destruction to the next level.

There are very few FPS I like the look of these days since they have mostly been slowed down to extremely dull speeds. The movement speed in this looks decent and the action looks on par with Black so I'm genuinely stoked about this.
