Morning Discussion

Silly video game companies, E3 starts next week. You've gone and got yourselves confused, haven't you? It's okay though--we'll permit this as long as you're getting it all out of the way early rather than crushing us with a bonus extra heap of them, yes?

If you haven't seen it yet, the best video games thing in the world is the game a group of Japanese gamers created in Super Mario 64. As this video shows, they trigger the 1up mushroom in a level then attempt to frantically collect eight red starts before the mushroom catches up to them. It is amazing and their reactions are hilarious. The best thing of all, though, is around the three-minute mark in this video. Brilliant.

She types them up between 11-12:30am and then just sits there waiting to click as Big Ben gets ready to chime.

They definitely are put into the system ahead of time. I've verified this more than once on accident by finding the new chatty in a search.

It can't be completely automatic however, there is a bit of editorial in each chatty post. Unless there is a clever robot in charge of the banter :) In which case what Azenmaster.

I miss those 10am ERs conversations. All to be swept away in a second while you sit there in an expired thread waiting for someone to respond.

Yes but it has been the case for like 6+ months now

Typically I start writing Morning Discussion at 6:50 am ShackTime, then stick it in the system to go live at 7:00. Sometimes I don't actually finish until a few minutes past seven, though. Shhhh it's a secret.
