That something Alan Wake developer Remedy was teasing last week turned out to be a live-action music video for "WAR" by Poets of the Fall, released alongside a screenshot of the game's first downloadable add-on.

That add-on, dubbed "The Signal," will be available to owners of the Xbox 360 exclusive on July 27, with those that bought the game new getting it for free care of the one-use code printed on a token card inside of the game's packaging. A second downloadable add-on, "The Writer," is due later this year, with no word yet on pricing for either.

Though Remedy recently confirmed that "The Signal" takes places after the game's conclusion, it has previously noted that "the game add-ons aren't telling more of the story, so to speak," instead packing "a different perspective on the things you've done" and "trying to set you up for the possible things you're going to do in season two."
