Team Fortress 2 on Mac Tomorrow, Teases Valve

35
Writing that "big things are happening RIGHT NOW at Valve," the developer has updated the Team Fortress 2 Official Blog with word that "things that rhyme with 'Speem Gortress zmavailable on the Babac'" will be occurring tomorrow, June 10.

"Things involving cultivated tree-fruit," the company adds, making the tease all the more obvious alongside an image of Team Fortress 2 characters wearing iPod headphones. "Things that rhyme with 'grapple.'"

Those that already own the colorful class-based multiplayer shooter via Steam PC will be able to download the Steam for Mac edition free-of-charge thanks to a feature called SteamPlay, which enables "customers to purchase a game once and play it on all Steam supported platforms." Additionally, the two versions will utilize the same servers, enabling those on either platform to play alongside (and against) one another.

Since its release in October 2007, Valve has been updating Team Fortress 2 PC with a variety of free enhancements, including new maps, modes, class-specific weapons and more, with the Engineer--the last of the nine classes to be updated--getting his "soon."

Thanks for the heads up, Alias Wyvernspur.
