Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Coming to iPad

A specialized iPad rendition of Rocktstar's Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is due "later this month," Take-Two CEO Ben Feder revealed during a conference call today.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars on iPhone

Though an iPhone and iPod touch edition of the game is already available and playable on the iPad, the iPad version will likely sport enhancements to take advantage of the larger screen and beefier hardware, much like Civilization Revolution.

No other details on the game, also available on Nintendo DS and PSP, were provided.

I don't get it.. how would enjoy a game like this using a touch screen. I guess they must make a plug-in gamepad peripheral or something?
