Power Gig Exclusive Artists Announced, Gameplay Revealed

A torrent of media has arrived for Seven45's rhythm game Power Gig: Rise of the SixString, in the form of screenshots, gameplay footage, video tutorials and a good look at its instruments, including the controller which doubles as an actual electric guitar.

Seven45 also announced exclusive agreements with musicians Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews Band and Kid Rock for Power Gig. While the artists' tracks have yet to be fully revealed, the following gameplay trailer shows Clapton's iconic "Layla" is in the game.

"But how," you ask, "will I be playing those toe-tapping rock tracks?" The guitar element is handled by Power Gig's previously-revealed SixString controller, which also be used as a conventional electric guitar. Here's a tutorial explaining the basics.
