Yakuza 4 Coming West in Spring 2011
by Chris Faylor, Jun 08, 2010 9:40am PDTAs tends to be the case, SEGA America has followed SEGA Japan's revelation of a new Yakuza game by announcing that the previous entry is coming to the West.
In this case, Yakuza 4 is coming to North America in "Spring 2011," while Japan gets the newest entry, Black Leopard: New Yakuza Chapter (PSP) on September 22, 2010.
Exclusive to the PlayStation 3, Yakuza 4 continues the gangster-oriented beat 'em up antics of the previous iterations, adding three new characters to the mix. It was released in Japan in March 2010--the same month North America and Europe got Yakuza 3.

I've been a fan of the series since the beginning. While the series isn't perfect, one thing that it does very, very well is putting you in the shoes of the main character. I've been gaming for decades and no other series has managed to make me feel like a total bad @ss like Yakuza.
3 turned out to be a really fun game, can't wait to get the next one
