The second Wii-exclusive dancing game to be announced by Ubisoft in just as many days--the first, Longtail Studios' Dance On Broadway, was revealed two weeks before its retail debut--Gold's Gym Dance Workout is being developed by Landho Co. and is due to hit North America in August 2010.

It's "the first dance game dedicated to fitness, fun and weight loss for the Nintendo Wii" and marks "a fun, interactive way to dance the pounds off," according to Ubisoft, which previously released Gold's Gym Cardio Workout for Wii in March 2009.

"A wide variety of dance routines featuring popular Latin dance styles as well as a selection of boxing-inspired dance routines," are promised, along with two-person coooperative play, various mini-games, Wii Balance Board compatibility and an exercise history feature that helps players track calories burned and body mass index.
