Tropico 3 Dev's Co-op Action-Adventure 'The First Templar' Announced

1
Tropico 3 developer Haemimont Games is branching out into the realm of action-adventure with The First Templar, publisher Kalypso Media has announced.

The First Templar features two characters in the form of a Templar knight and a noblewoman branded a heretic, who naturally have their own skills and can be switched between, letting the AI take over the other. Drop-in, drop-out co-op play is also on offer.

"RPG-inspired character development" is promised as players "uncover the mysteries behind the Templar Order, play a role in a grand conspiracy, and discover the secret of the Holy Grail" in twenty "historically accurate" 13th-century locations.

The First Templar is scheduled to arrive on PC and Xbox 360 in the first quarter of 2011.

Haemimont also did "Tzar: The Burden of the Crown" back in the 2000. It was a pretty cool game. I thought they are better known for it, well at least in Europe.

I wish them luck with this... although I will not play it. Make some hardcore Doom style FPS and will be all over it.
