Joe Danger Crashing Onto PS3 Next Week
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 01, 2010 6:25am PDTIndie developer Hello Games has announced that its stunt motorcycle platformer Joe Danger will be released for download on PlayStation 3 on June 8, via Sony's PlayStation.Blog.
Joe Danger sees the world's greatest stuntman, the eponymous Mr Danger, popping stunts, dodging obstacles and collecting items on hazardous tracks, with singleplayer and split-screen multiplayer modes.
The Independent Games Festival award-nominated platformer also boasts a live in-game track editor, a feature which helped it earn funding from Sony to bolster the console manufacturer's "Play, Create, Share" marketing initiative.
Joe Danger will cost $14.99 when it hits the US PlayStation Store on June 8. The European release date has yet to be revealed, though programmer Sean Murray says that "The dates will be as close as we can possibly make them."

I'd much rather be able to jump into a game like this for a few minutes than load up a console. Same as I felt about Street Fighter 4. I'd have Super but I'd play it a lot more if it was on Steam. It's just so convenient. Also looks way better at a resolution above 1280x720 plus AA.
