Lots of assholes in the US and around the world who think their problems are caused by someone else rather than their own genetics or other environmental factors. So they blame vaccines and ignore tons of scientific studies saying otherwise. They think they are doing a public service getting parents to opt out of vaccinations.

I just watched Funny People and thought it was great - anyone else see this on dvd / in the theaters? it was a bit long, but i really enjoyed the interactions between adam sandler and seth rogen -- and it was especially nice to see adam sandler play a dramatic character.

Civilization 4 Pitboss

Feels like the entire world in Alpha is at war. Lets go through this chronologically. First I declare war on Sze Ior. Then Goncyn declares war on Sze Ior. In the other side of the map, Wendigo declares war on Vantage. Geedeck then proceeds to declare war on Wendigo. 6 players, about half of the remaining players, are at war! I wonder if this war mongeringness is going to bring along more people. How many more innocent civilians will die before our hunger is satisfied? A lot more!

Even though Alphagoes pretty slowly, I'm sure Bravonever had something of this magnitude!

Any handicapped gamers here?

I have an autoimmune reaction in my hands (after my bone marrow transplant) that causes them to be a bit stiffer than I'd like. Certain actions that require stretching are more difficult than fast paced games like Bad Company 2 allow.

Has anyone ever seen any foot pedal or button devices? I'm thinking it'd be easier to crouch pressing down with my foot than trying to stretch my pinky down :(

Iâ€™m looking into moving to your awesome country and looking for some info. Can anyone help me via SM or e-mail? I would appreciate it very much.

Basically, Iâ€™m looking for some information about three big areas: Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa. I already have read a good bunch of information about these three cities, but I could use some info about neighborhoods, general cost of living, good places to live and day-to-day stuff, like health care, traffic, transportation network, etc. For reference, I do web development and content management of medium-sized websites, but my main fields of work are actionscript 3 programming, design, information architecture, html/js programming and some RIA development; my wife is a physiotherapist and she would be going with me at the same time. Iâ€™m open to suggestions about other good cities and places to live.

Anyway, if anyone could give me some information and recommendations about the places Iâ€™ve mentioned, I would greatly appreciate it. Leave a reply here if I can SM you some questions - I promise to not take much of your time :)

As a newly minted bachelor whose gf did all of the cooking ( damn i will miss her cooking! ), I'm determined to figure this out, as I have very very little to no experience in the kitchen (and i'm 30!). I've got some seasoned mahi mahi defrosting in the kitchen, and I've got some frozen broccoli and also some loose brown basmati rice.

The plan is:

Rice: 1 cup of water boiling, then I dump 1/2 cup of the rice in there, and add a touch of salt. Then put the lid on the pan and reduce heat to a simmer. Let that go, stirring occasionally until the water is all gone and the rice is ready. Let this get going for a few minutes while I prep the rest of the stuff...

Mahi Mahi:
Put about 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan on med heat till it starts to pop and bubble, then put the fish in... its already "seasoned" according to the package, but I might try putting some lemon juice and some pepper on the top side. Let that initial side cook for about 5-6 minutes until its golden brown, then flip over and do the same.

about this time put some of the frozen broccoli into a cup w/ some water and a lit and mircowave that for about 3min or so till its all steamed up.

About the time the fish is done (and I know its done because if I put a fork in it, it should flake nicely), the rice should be about done ... add a little bit of spray butter and enjoy.

Does that sound about right or is going to be a total disaster? Any suggestions?
