Guitar Hero 6 Now 'Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock'
by Chris Faylor, May 28, 2010 2:00pm PDTOnce code-named Guitar Hero 6, this year's entry in the popular music game franchise is now officially titled Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, maker Activision has confirmed.
While an official release date has yet to be confirmed by Activision, the two retailers the company links to--GameStop and Amazon--list PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii versions of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock for release on September 21, 2010.
This year's entry is said to focus more on rock and roll, with project lead Brian Bright telling Nintendo Power that "one of the things we really wanted to do was capture some of that soul that personally I thought the first three games had."
