Alien Breed: Evolution Revamped for PC and PS3
by Alice O'Connor, May 27, 2010 8:20am PDTAlien Breed: Evolution, Team17's Xbox 360 revamp of its classic Amiga top-down shooter, is itself being revamped as Alien Breed: Impact for PC and PlayStation 3.
Team17 describes Impact as "a heavily expanded edition" of Evolution, "with suggestions from the community being translated into brand new features." Changes include vending machines selling weapon upgrades and redesigning a number of the alien species to be visually more distinctive, according to gamesTM.
"We're always very keen to hear what our communities are saying about our titles and greatly consider feedback," said studio head Martyn Brown in the announcement. "For Alien Breed: Impact, it was great that we went back to the design and improved the game in many areas, meaning a much tighter gameplay experience for all."
Alien Breed: Impact will be released via Steam and PlayStation Network this summer. No price was given, though Evolution costs 800 Microsoft Points ($10) on Xbox 360.

So you took feedback from the 360 game to make the PC and PS3 game better. What about those people who bought the game on 360? Don't they deserve the updates too?
