HBO Shows Available Now on Sony's PSN Video Store

Shows from premium cable network HBO are now available through Sony's PlayStation Network Video Store, which allows users to purchase television shows and films for playback on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable.

The initial offering from HBO includes:

  • True Blood - Seasons 1 and 2
  • Big Love - Seasons 1, 2 and 3
  • Entourage - Seasons 1 and 2
  • Eastbound and Down - Season 1
  • "Multiple Seasons" from The Sopranos, Sex and the City, The Wire, Rome, Da Ali G Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Flight of the Conchords
The PlayStation 3 and PSP are the first consoles to receive content from HBO.

      Probably the same as everything else, $2/episode for SD and $3/episode for HD. ie, too much.

        Back in my day we paid $15-20 for a VHS with three episodes on it (buying anime in 1999) in SD.
