As if it weren't bad enough that skateboarders are taking over our park benches and handrails for their shenanigans, the CGI-snaffizied live-action debut trailer for Ubisoft Montreal's Shaun White Skateboarding shows they'll soon be ripping up the streets too.

Ubisoft explains that the famed snowboarder's skateboarding game will allow players to "shape your world by extending handrails into endless grinds, carving alleys into half pipes and morphing streets into ramps." Tsk! The youth of today--not a shred of respect.

Shaun White Skateboarding is scheduled to grind onto PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 in time for the 2010 holiday season.

i read a preview for this up on ign and although the changing environment on the fly sounds like an interesting idea, the controlling scheme seems to take a step backward, especially after loving the skate series' way of tricking.

looking forward to seeing some gameplay though.

Yeah, the fact is that the flick controls are pretty much the only way that skating game fans want to play a skate game now.
