3Following through on the recent confirmation of Killzone 3, publisher Sony Computer Entertainment has officially announced the PlayStation 3 shooter sequel via the PlayStation.Blog as well as provided several images from the game.
The game will indeed be playable in stereoscopic 3D upon its release. Still no confirmation as to when that release will be, though it's rumored for this year.

I love 3D (3D Vision owner), but I'm very skeptical of the current generation of consoles being able to pull off smooth-playing 3D games without having to kill the graphical appeal. Would love to see more shots of this game, and preferably some confirmation that these shots come from the 3D-rendered version of the game.
