      Kinda... except the warthog ties acceleration to the directional analog stick too, doesn't it? That makes it more difficult to maintain speed while turning, but that's not an issue in RDR since your acceleration is uses a face button.
      
      In the warthog, you push forward on the thumbstick to accelerate forward while using the other stick to rotate the camera and the vehicles direction simultaneously. In RDR, you use the left thumbstick to point which direction you want the horse to travel relative to the camera's direction and use the A button to accelerate. I think it is a more precise setup.
