THQ Determines 'Truth or Lies' with New Game

Claiming that it has "a proprietary voice calibration system" that "measures stress levels in a player's voice to reveal the honesty of their answers," publisher THQ today announced a new game titled "Truth or Lies."

Coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii in the fall, the eight-player family-friendly party game requires either a Xbox 360 Wirless Microphone or standard USB microphone for players to answer the " an astonishing array of thought-provoking questions."

The game also features a "Hot Seat" mode, in which participants can ask other players "any question that comes to mind" after which the game presumably determines if it was an honest answer. THQ says this will "lead to revealing and hilarious situations among friends and family," but I'd wager more on "revealing and awkward situations."
