F.E.A.R. 3 Trailer Blends Live Action With Gameplay

A new F.E.A.R. 3 trailer has metaphorically kicked the door in and booted us in the face with a mix of live-action and gameplay footage promoting the horror shooter sequel.

F.E.A.R. console port developer Day 1 Studios is behind the game, with 30 Days of Night and Simon Dark comics writer Steve Niles co-writing the script and The Thing director John Carpenter lending Day 1 "his expertise in crafting the in-game cinematics."

Boasting "divergent co-op, an evolved cover system, and more scares," F.E.A.R. 3 is scheduled for release on hit PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this fall.

I assume the soldiers in that video had not been told about the "evolved cover system". Unless of course, by evolved they meant "lack of".

I'll have to watch this trailer tonight, but the first trailer really didn't get me excited about "Fuh-three-ar". It looked depressingly reminiscent of "F.Expansion.A.R.", along with some of the unique elements in "F.2.A.R." that I didn't enjoy.
