The latest entry in the acrobatic action-adventure series Prince of Persia heads out to retailers this week--a theatrical film based on the franchise, though not this particular entry, follows May 28--so maker Ubisoft has released a new trailer to celebrate.

Dubbed "The Forgotten Sands" and set between the events of "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" and "Prince of Peria: Warrior Within," the game is due on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS and Wii come May 18 in North America / May 21 in Europe.

As for the promised PC edition, retailer listings indicate it will follow in June.
