Wrapping up its three-part "Building the..." video series just as the Xbox 360-exclusive "psychological action thriller" heads off to stores, developer Remedy has issued a new Alan Wake trailer that intersperses various cinematic clips with review quotes.

Already available in Europe, Alan Wake hits North America on May 18--that's tomorrow--with each new copy packing a free download of the add-on due in July.

Chris Faylor was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.

Selling like shit will most definitely make this NOT come to PC. Why would they spend the money to port this, plus if they did...it would be a port and not a full programmed release so you'd complain anyhow.

You want to hope that the game sells like mad, otherwise you can guarantee that there will never be a PC version of it.. Games fucking awesome by the way.. Not to rub it in or anything =)

what i don't get is that i see some people complaining all-the-time when there's a exclusive game for xbox or ps3. They claim that they don't have money to buy a console. Well, with all those games you couldn't buy, because they were exclusive .. well that money would have paid you a console easily in the meantime.

What I don't get is how you don't seem to realise that this game wasn't meant to be Xbox-exclusive.
