Dead Space 2 Trailer Gives Isaac a Voice
by Brian Leahy, May 14, 2010 1:00pm PDTThis video "interview" with Dead Space 2 executive producer Steve Papoutsis provided by Electronic Arts details some of the changes being made to the sequel to the original third-person horror shooter.
First, protagonist Isaac Clarke will be getting a voice, which the developers hope will strengthen the game's narrative. Secondly, the Javelin Gun will let the player pin enemies to walls, subsequently setting them on fire or electrocuting them.
Dead Space 2 will be released in early 2011 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, which was recently confirmed by EA after some doubt.
