Modern Warfare 2 'Resurgence' DLC in Screenshots

I was going to wait for the Stimulus Pack to be $10 or atleast Free which is what they did with Halo 3 once they gave there second pack it was not very long until the first was free. Otherwise I hope they sell both packs at a special offer for $20 Because no way will I spend $30 or $25 (half the price of the game) on 6 maps which is maybe a quater of the multiplayer and multiplayer is half the game. So basically I would paying half of the game so I can add 1/8th of the game to my gameplay. I want to stick with Modern Warfare 2 so hopefully these packages will be cheaper because eventually the game will become near inplayable with number of non-map pack players quiting and the map pack players remaining.

The problem is, at least for me, that pc version of DLC is fucking way too expensive. I think it's fine for PS3/XBOX360 users, since they pay around 80$ for one game(I rly dunno what's price of dolar for zloty now lol, anyway i'm from Poland, games here for ps3 costs around 250 zloty) So paying 15$ for them, ain't really that big thing. Now i paid 100 zloty for COD6 MW2, which is around 25-30 bucks in USA. Even since i use pc for rly long time, and try to upgrade for every 2-3 years, i don't shit with cash, Poland isn't like the richest country in whole world, if i pay for game, it means i will play it for long time and i always read reviews, watch gameplays etc. before I spend my hard earned money. Now here is the deal, each DLC pack, which includes 3 new maps and 2 copy/pasta costs 15 bucks, it means, I would pay bigger price for 6 new maps than for the whole game, this is fucking bullshit to be honest. And again, in CoD4 i can have 100 new maps with new weapons and mods FOR FREE, which often are way better than IW releases. And yeah, i do care, I still play COD6MW2, good thing is that on pc version i don't see many Stimulus pack players, example: Ground war - around 5-6k people, DLC - 1.2/2k so this game is still playable, I would really sue fuckers from IW if they ever would block my multiplayer until i buy new patch or map pack. Anyway, yeah COD6MW2 is great game, but could be fucking amazing if no hackers and cracked servers on VAC with a lot of bad hosts. And yeah, like many of you said i hate that so many gaming companies are forcing pc, to be another gaming console, the truth is, that they all are just fucking greedy about cash, and the only reason why cod6 doesn't have dedicaded servers, is cash, no cracked servers and no free mods make people buy their products.

It is a tremendously awful rip-off. For $30 between the two DLC packs, we only get 6 new maps, and probably only 2-3 of those 6 will be any good at all.

The problem is that we DID have custom maps in mw1 for free. some of them were even better than the original maps.

No dedicated servers = a lot of lag, hacks and annoying players. It was great when the server admins managed all the things that most of the players never wanted.

no one should have to pay for the maps. We did our part and buyed the game. Now is activision part to repay us.

Well I think that's bullshit if you are past the point of caring why are you still coming back to check on mw2 news?? huh? looks like you are very interested to know whats going on aren't you? Well as for me I really like the game I play it very often, still I think 15 bucks its overpriced for only 3 new maps and 2 I already played but at the end I don't really mind it since the maps they placed there from CoD4 are always the most I enjoyed playing. and I got money to spare since I work. But it is really sucky for those who can't afford. They should at least make the price lower to 10 bucks.
Oh and about the hackers, I haven't seen many lately I think they are getting what they deserve.

I would buy a weapon pack if they ever decide to release one.
At first I was going to buy the stimulus pack, but as I read it wouldn't mix in with the other maps kinda refrained me from buying it.
I will most probably not buy this pack either if they don't fix it.
And that clown kinda freaks me out... I hate clowns... :/

The only main problem i have with this game is that although they allready got 50 plus for the actual game broken and no dedicated servers filled with hackers and cheats dont get me wrong its a good game the gameplay is awsome but the hackers are unbelievable and infinity ward still havent fixed it but then they sold the stymules pack for £10 and now they want more money from us.

not only that but they are trying to make the pc like a concole wich anoys me emensly PC gamers made call of duty the game it was and infinity ward are doing to it what EA games have done to Command and Conquer!! sort it out allready

Anyone else still standing strong? I didn't buy the first map pack and havn't played the game since. I kinda miss the game, but have been enjoying the other games I've been playing as a result. I fear that I am in the minority, and that infinity ward has not taken notice :(

but I'm missing all the DLC... anyone with the DLC - can you comment on how many players are available any given night? after free weekend finished, the PC version had like 35,000 TOTAL in the game.... :X

DLC is genius. $30 for new maps for one game is an un-fucken-believable fist up the old jacksie.

I hate myself for it, but I will probably buy this. Yes, 15$ for the first DLC was a very high price, 10$ would've been justified and they really really need to integrate the DLC maps into regular gamemode rotations on the PC side, as they have already done on the 360. But all said and done, I do not regret the purchase. Crash and Overgrown are cool, Invasion is alright, the 2 others are so-so.

Considering how crazy well the general playerbase ate up the 15$ price of Stimulus DLC (It is STILL #1 seller on Steam and the top sellers are ranked by revenue, so this is insane), they really need to consider making a DLC finally adding dedicated server capability. They would continue to print money by selling crazy loads and a lot of complainers would finally shut up (me included).

15$ for 3 new maps, 2 mounth later 15$ again...

I love MW2 and after TF2, it's the game I play most.

I don't have the DLC mainly because I enjoy every map except derail. I find the maps to be some of the best multiplayer maps ever! I don't doubt the DLC maps are also really good. Hell I know crash is good and I still play mw1 for this reason.

If they dropped the price I'd probably buy it without much thought. Still enjoying my first $60 game without many complaints.
