F1 2010 Dev Diary Gets Wet and Wild

Developed and published by Codemasters, F1 2010 is slated for a PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in September--shortly before the 2010 Formula One season ends.

  • Now when are they going to work in random/unpredictable situations on track. I love racing games but hate the fact that all the AI are perfect drivers with perfect setups. It needs more realism like someone getting a blown tire on the last few laps of the race. Or someone runs into a chicane which brings out a local yellow that results in you catching up to the leader.

    I'm sure playing online will give similar results, but still no one ever runs into problems like a blown tire or blown engine. It's the unpredictability of what happens on track that makes F1 so exciting. That's just my 2 cents.
