Gran Turismo 5 Screenshots Go Nurburgring

All three courses of the Nurburgring, "Europe's most iconic racetrack," will be included in Gran Turismo 5, publisher Sony Computer Entertainment and developer Polyphony Digital have announced--a revelation celebrated in the form of eight new screenshots.

There's still no word as to exactly when the PlayStation 3 exclusive simulation racer will arrive, though Sony has previously pledged that it'll be out before the year's end.

      I think Gran Turismo was the first racing sim featuring hundreds of street-legal production cars. Before that, there were Formula 1 sims, NASCAR sims, and maybe some other types, but nothing with "normal" cars, afaik.
