Split/Second Trailer Unleashes Air Attack

The build-up towards the May 18 release of Split/Second continues with this latest trailer from publisher Disney Interactive, which examines two game modes that see players of the explosive racing game facing off against a missile-firing helicopter.

Crafted by Black Rock, Split/Second is coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Just got done playing the Xbox 360 demo. The graphics look very good, reminded me of Burnout Paradise. The remote detonation is really easy, but it seems that you can run out of these if you use them all in the 1st 2 laps. I like it but didn't feel in love with it, and i think Blur has it beat with the 20 player multiplayer.

I don't know why, but I can't ever get that excited about single player in racing games. Baja: Edge of Control is the only recent game I can think of where I lasted more than an hour or so in the single player, and that was primarily just because I couldn't ever find anyone in its multiplayer lobbies.
