Telltale Games has given the first look at the second episode of the third season of its Sam & Max adventure series with a single screenshot and a dash of concept art.

"Sam & Max will face even more bizarre and dangerous new characters... along with some familiar faces," Telltale teases, promising "This episode may be the duo's most epic yet, with new psychic powers for Max, peculiar foes, a journey on the Disorient Express and an ancient mysterious riddle that spans the ages."

Sam & Max Episode 302: The Tomb of Sammun-Mak is scheduled for release "in just a few short weeks," hitting PC, PlayStation 3 and iPad some time this month.

I wish they had the voices from the cartoons. Sam's voice just doesn't sound right.

Haha... Sam & Max's voices will be a point of contention until the end of the universe I guess. Some people really strongly prefer the Hit The Road voices, some people really like the Fox Kids carrion voices for some reason (no offense), and at this point a decent chunk of people have been won over by (or discovered the characters with) the Telltale voices and prefer those. Hopefully a fourth voice cast is also introduced at some point, just to irritate everyone ever.
