Those that didn't buy Trine PC via digital distributors like Steam or Impulse can now enjoy the free additional "Path to New Dawn" level added to the side-scroller last month, as a manual download of the 26.76MB v1.07 patch is now available via FileShack.

The downloadable is compatible with the Direct2Drive, GamersGate, North American retail and European retail editions of Trine. Steam and Impulse copies should have already been updated automatically via their respective digital distribution platforms, while those with Russian and Polish versions will need to wait for a separate patch.

This was enjoyable for $5.

I was a bit thrown off by the curious decision to turn it into an entirely different kind of game for the last level.

  heh, i fuckin love this game... i cant even remember what no name digitial distro i bought it from, half tempted to re-purchase thru steam, so i can get easier updates .. heh
