by Chris Faylor, May 06, 2010 11:50am PDTThe Rome-set, multiplayer-enabled follow-up to Assassin's Creed 2 due out this fall is officially titled "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" and slated to arrive on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, publisher Ubisoft has confirmed.
The confirmation came about after Kotaku was provided with promotional GameStop boxart for the game, with Ubisoft later saying that it "confirms the authenticity of this image and will provide more information next week." Destructoid obtained a high-quality scan of the art, which notes that GameStop pre-orders get an "exclusive multiplayer character."

Annoying races? Check. One-dimensional combat? Check. Terrible jumping puzzles? Check. Tedious missions? Check. Tedious collections? Check. Awful story line that makes no sense? Check.
Yup guys, think we got a hit on our hands.
For the record I kind of enjoyed Assassin's Creed 2 .... until I played it for about 6+ hours and realized I was wasting my time and went and played Uncharted 2 instead. No desire to ever go back and play it.

The controls and flow of the AC game engine might not fit so well with that. I am interested to see what they do with it though.
