EVE Online 'Tyrannis' Trailer Declares War

A spectacular new EVE Online trailer teases the upcoming 'Tyrannis' update, which will add features including planet-side industrial installations to CCP's PC space MMO.

The planetary activities will eventually connect with CCP Shanghai's console shooter DUST 514, letting the two groups to work together for global--and galactic--domination.

Tyrannis is due to touch down for free on May 18.

They (at least) have great trailers, even if the final products are a bit, er...shall we say, "underwhelming" in their reality. Sigh.

This really makes me want to reactivate, but I've been fooled before. As I sit in a dock staring at my Drake wondering if I want to go ratting or mining I just log the fark off. CCP has been promising 'walking in stations' for some time now, deliver that and I'll reactivate, along with a slew of other players.
