Initially due in February 2009 before getting pushed to October 2009 and finally June 2010, Obsidian Entertainment's espionage-focused role-playing game Alpha Protocol has gone gold, meaning it's complete with discs now in the manufacturing process.

Publisher SEGA announced the milestone today, confirming that the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 title will indeed be making its promised release date of May 28 for Europe and June 1 in North America, and also passed along a new trailer in the process:
