Alan Wake's features a full lighting and weather simulation engine among its other technological features, most of which can be found in the following trailer:

Alan Wake will be released exclusively for the Xbox 360 on May 18. Purchasers of new copies will receive vouchers to download the game's first add-on pack later this year.

If PC gamers don't get to play the game, why the hell would we care about the technology used to make it? Meh...to be honest, I never understood the hype for this game, but maybe it never was my type to begin with.

If the money comes with the Xbox game, they will follow with other platforms. I don't think 1 game has even dared not try multiple platforms if they made money hats from it. Or are we using Money Silos as the current measuring standard?

The only people bitching about this are you crybaby PC people. I will enjoy every bit of this on the XBOX. If it does come out on the PC, i will be more than happy to try it again on there to see it look even better. If you have a 360, just enjoy it for what it is. It's just a game.

I'm a console gamer, so I'm happy this is coming out for the 360. Thanks Remedy. When I purchased the original xbox years ago I had a choice between the Max Payne and Halo. I chose Max Payne, so I'm looking forward to Remedy's new game.

I'm looking forward to another game with a pysch-horror angle. Heavy Rain is one of my favorite games this year, so Alan Wake looks right ups my alley.

I followed this game for years, until they canceled the PC release. Bottom line is, I don't play console games anymore and I sold my 360. I don't have much time for games these days, but when I do, I like to play them on the PC. Really unfortunate that I won't be able to play Alan Wake.
