Superheroes big and small, famous and useless--sorry, Aquaman--are the object of fun in a new parody trailer for The Sims 3 expansion pack 'Ambitions,' continuing the run of amusing, biting and just plain unsettling trailers for EA's human suffering simulator.

Packing a wide range of careers from architect to Ghost Hunter, The Sims 3 Ambitions is due to be released for PC and Mac this June. The original Sims 3, meanwhile, is headed to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii this fall.

This expansion pack so far looks like its going to add very little to the Sims. New jobs.... oh yea great wonderful rad. Throw in some disfuntional super hero's or ability to dress your sim up in silly costumes.... what a great idea, ..... not. I think the only redeeming thing they could do for this is to allow you to fight crime as a super hero with random scenarios that pop up. I think what could trump this expansion pack is to have a way when your sims are sleeping to skip all the way to the morning so i dont have to wait a few minutes for them to finish their sleeping cycle. Now that seems useful!
