Today, Monster Hunter's best chance for success outside of Japan launched today with Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii. I've got my copy and will be online sometime this week. I'll post my account info when I get setup if anyone wants to hop on with me.

  M60 doesn't piss me off as much as the 40mm grenades do
  
  I also get angry at seeing people rock the CG with 8 stars. fuck off.

    Yeah, guys camping on top of multiple ammo boxes spamming 40mm and hand grenade is the worst...

      Unlocks max out at like level 22 or something...
      
      Also it's not hard to kill someone and steal their kit...

        i'm level 24 and i still have a number of unlocks left. i play assault most of the time though.

        I meant the level based ones...
        
        I didn't chase any stars or pins so I unlocked all the kits early so I could enjoy the game without grinding...

        I'm not sure what the level based ones means. I haven't chased any stars or really paid that much attention to the unlocks in general, I've just tried out different weapons and then stuck with the ones I've felt most effective/comfortable with.

    hah. I have 9 stars on the CG.
    
    But I do hope they tone down the 1 hit kill weapons. It seems like you either have to use one of them or the M60 to be competitive. There's alot of cool weapons that don't get used because you'll always lose to the cheesey weapons.

        it's fun, engie is my favorite class. but i only use it on vehicle maps

  Last night was the first time I really noticed the 40mm issue impacting my play. They were raining down.

    I have only had one round where I was annoyed with them. It was on the first stage of Africa Harbor and a guy on the attacking team was essentially sniping with them from the hills where the snipers usually sit overlooking the m-coms. I had not idea they could travel that far.
