The first downloadable add-on for Lost Planet 2 will be released alongside its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 iterations on May 11, publisher Capcom confirmed today.

Simply dubbed Map Pack #1, the as-yet-unpriced download will bring two additional multiplayer maps to the third-person shooter, both featuring underwater combat. As previously reported, those that pre-order from GameStop get the maps for free.

Along with screenshots of the two downloadable maps, Capcom also recently released the final installment in its narrative series of trailers detailing the overall game:

No word yet as to how Lost Planet 2 PC, due this fall, will incorporate the downloads.
