New EA SPORTS MMA Screens: Strikeforce Nashville
The new screens feature all three of the main bouts from last Saturday's official fight card. The Light Heavyweight Championship bout between Gerard Mousasi and Muhammed Lawal (King Mo), saw Lawal emerge as the victor, and Gilbert Melendez triumphed over Shinya Aoki in the Lightweight Championship bout. In the title fight between Jake Shields and Dan Henderson, Shields was able to successfully defend the Strikeforce Middleweight Championship via a unanimous decision.
Sadly, there are no screenshots of the Miller/Gracie Camp battle royale that followed the title bout, but you'll be able to recreate it yourself when EA SPORTS MMA comes out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime during the last three months of 2010.

replycompared to Undisputed this game looks really terrible, I don't know who ok'd this to be shown as a commercial during the strikeforce fight but the animations for the guys looked awful.

The animations are kind of far behind, but they've got quite a few months left. Thing is, I don't know if they had "placeholder mocap" in place or whatever, or whether developers even do that, but if they're not going to work on their mocap some more, then the final game is going to be just as hobbled by the rather stiff fighting animations. And unlike, say, Fallout 3 (which also had pretty bad animations), this game could be completely ruined by it.
