Evening Reading: FPS Fever!

This morning, Take-Two announced that 2K Marin is developing an FPS game based upon X-COM. The outrage was palpable.

I'm willing to give 2K Marin a chance here. I'm sure this is a move meant to echo Bethesda's work with the Fallout franchise, which led to the creation of Fallout 3.

Personally, I'm a much bigger fan of Todd Howard and Bethesda's work than 2K Marin's, but we'll see what the studio can cook up.

So today I did Runic a great service.

Partnering up with the local computer shop here, I went around to both Fred Meyers and our Walmart, and acquired every boxed copy of Torchlight in town (107 copies). Those 107 copies were given away free to the first 107 customers at said computer shop.

I plan to do the same for Grim Dawn, but just how remains to be seen as it might be digital only.

      I don't think anybody cares what the bigger picture is. If they do, then they may need to reevaluate just how exactly they factor their participation in this community into their daily lives because they might have a slight problem with seriousness.
      
      Furthermore, I'm fairly certain that nothing in this website's Terms of Use stipulate that users are making their posts under penalty of perjury.
      
      I make these posts because I feel like sharing the things I do. I don't guarantee their accuracy or truthfulness because the fact of the matter is that I don't really give a shit if anybody on the website or else believes me. If you believe me, cool and thanks, if you don't, cool and thanks. Continue posting that you don't believe me if it eases your discomfort. I won't stop you and more than likely I'm simply reiterate that I DON'T FUCKING GIVE A SHIT WHAT YOU BELIEVE OR DON'T BELIEVE.
