Evening Reading: FPS Fever!

This morning, Take-Two announced that 2K Marin is developing an FPS game based upon X-COM. The outrage was palpable.

I'm willing to give 2K Marin a chance here. I'm sure this is a move meant to echo Bethesda's work with the Fallout franchise, which led to the creation of Fallout 3.

Personally, I'm a much bigger fan of Todd Howard and Bethesda's work than 2K Marin's, but we'll see what the studio can cook up.

So why is Austin so different than the rest of Texas?

I've been to Dallas, Houston, Amarillo, and El Paso. I still need to visit Austin some time. I hear it's a fun city.
