Alien Dominion Demo Brings On-Rails 'Splosions
by Alice O'Connor, Apr 14, 2010 6:00pm PDTIndie developer Black Fire Games has released its unabashed on-rails shooter Alien Dominion for PC with a 330MB timed demo available from FileShack, brought to our attention by the fine fellows of Rock Paper Shotgun.
Alien Dominion: The Acronian Encounter charges players with fending off an alien invasion from the comfortable position of a starship gun turret, firing off thousands upon thousands of bullets to defend the ship and earn cash for buying upgrades. On top of that, there's a hard-rawkin' soundtrack and a comic Russian accent.
The demo offers thirty minutes of on-rails action before you will need to buy the full game for $11.99 from GamersGate or direct from Black Fire.

Other than the sort of coolness of the capital ship battles, this game seems like it should be browser-based =(
